Letter from our CEO - thoughts on what was 2020 really like for CoreData and what we're doing moving forward in 2021!

While we have already embraced 2021, which promises to be full of interesting opportunities, I would like to share my thoughts about 2020 through the eyes of CoreData and look ahead to what 2021 has in store for us.

First, I would like to say how much I appreciate our clients, partners, and employees. Thanks to their incredible efforts, professionalism, and teamwork, CoreData has grown despite all the challenges that 2020 has brought upon us.

Announcing ISO 271000 Certification

In 2020 CoreData went through a very strict certification process for the ISO 27001 which is one of the most well-known and internationally recognized information security standards.
We expect an official announcement beginning of 2021.

After demonstrating our ongoing commitment to manage and protect the company´s and client data, CoreData’s compliance was validated by the independent auditor, BSI.
It is important to mention that ISO 27001 is not just a ‘one-time’ audit, but an ongoing process of continuous improvement, review, and engagement with security standards and processes.

New partnerships and more to come!

Thanks to the new partnership with Dokobit, the biggest electronic signature solutions provider, CoreData is supporting e-signing and e-identification service in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Iceland, Poland, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, and Spain. More countries will follow in 2021.

CoreData also partnered with Advania Signet Transfer, one of the cloud solutions from the Signet family. CoreData and Advania teamed up and enabled customers to send files securely after identifying themselves with electronic credentials.

Building CoreData Sales Network across EU

At the beginning of 2020, we set ourselves a goal to expand our business into new markets, primarily EU countries. Little did we know that 2020 had other plans for all of us and expanding our business during the pandemic was ambitious and challenging at the same time.

Therefore, we dedicated our efforts in 2020 to growing our sales team internally and building our sales network in the DACH region and Nordic countries to increase sales and marketing opportunities which we expect to capitalize on in the coming year.

2020 Product updates – more value for our clients

Throughout the year we had a couple of significant product releases that helped our clients modernize and digitalize their customer experience. With secure e-identification and e-signing, our clients are now provided with a convenient and secure way to sign contracts and prove their identity online.

In the year 2020 CoreData team was focused on supporting our clients while working from home by developing and customizing features to fit their needs. For many of our clients, this turned CoreData into one of the critical digital workspaces they needed during the challenging workdays they spent at home.

CoreData new website launch

With the newly designed website, we wanted to revive the CoreData brand and provide to our clients a more intuitive and user-friendly experience that clearly states what we stand for, what our product can do for their business, and what industries we already support.

As a solution, and innovation provider, it is important for us to make sure that information regarding our product, services, and plans is easily accessible and simple to understand for our current and prospective clients.

What to expect in 2021?

In 2020 we clearly realized the critical importance of digital workspace solutions among the workforce of any industry or sector. While Covid-19 has closed doors for many, our industry is experiencing a period of opportunity. While business growth, scaling, and expansion is an opportunity for software providers, using DMS solution can boost the collaboration, productivity, and security of confidential documents for our clients.

If 2020 was about surviving, 2021 will be about reviving and thriving. At CoreData we have shown that together with our partners and teamwork, we can deliver more value to our clients faster.
Our company goal now is to retain business resilience and keep expanding and pushing the market boundaries.

In a year filled with so many positive updates for CoreData, we’ve been fortunate enough to have certain media outlets take interest in the work we’re doing to make our clients’ businesses paperless, organized and secure, while they make their business grow.
